​We take care of the environment and community at Ertebølle Strand Camping

At Ertebølle Strand Camping, we cherish our heavenly nature in Himmerland. We overlook the Limfjord and have many excellent hiking, running, and cycling routes surrounding our lovely campsite. So for us, it's only natural that we want to take care of what we have while enjoying the experiences that nature provides us.

When you camp with us, you choose a cozy, local, and peaceful campsite. We aim to create the best possible conditions for you to relax and enjoy being right here and now without too many external disturbances. We constantly make efforts to take good care of our nature and our health.​

Even though we are a small campsite, we want to be at the forefront. Therefore, we have implemented various initiatives such as:

• Charging stations for electric and hybrid cars, available for everyone in the area.
• Wind energy from Danish windmills because the sun is a renewable energy source we always have available.
• Four large solar panels using sunlight to heat our water.
• Swan-labeled cleaning products, cloths, hand soap, and toilet paper.
• Waste sorting for paper, glass, cans, and metal.
• Heart paths inviting to exercise and delightful nature experiences.
• Sauna and pool for winter bathing for everyone.
